Parking and Food Options for MidPhon 27

Parking

Note that the university warns that there may be limited parking on campus the weekend of the conference due to other events taking place at the same time.

There are also parking options off campus. Two popular spots are in Delmar Loop and in Forest Park. Delmar Loop has several free, public lots and is about a 15 minute walk from campus (directions below). This is a good option for the day but overnight parking is likely not allowed. In Forest Park, most of the lots are paid but there is free street parking if you can find it. Note that Forest Park is big and you will want to stick to the northwest corner of the park to stay within walking distance of campus.

Food

There are several cafes and small eateries on campus, in addition to a number of places in on Delmar. We will provide coffee and drinks during breaks, but if you want to venture out, cafes close to the venue are:

Walking directions

To get from campus to Delmar, go down the steps on the north side of Olin Library, and follow the elevated walkway (this is Ackert Walkway). This eventually turns into Melville Ave which intersects with Delmar. If you are staying at Moonrise Hotel, this (but reversed) is also a good way to get to campus, though from there you could walk down Skinker as well.
